One of the most important things that must be done in the area of security protection is security protection planning. Security protection planning is a method involving a number of steps that have been established by the Security Police and the Armed Forces. It is also clear from the basic provisions of Chapter 2, Section 1 of the Security Protection Act that security protection planning is a requirement for anyone engaged in security-sensitive activities. The security protection planning method is not only used to determine what Protective Security need, but can also be used to determine whether or not you conduct security-sensitive activities and whether or not you are subject to the requirements of the Security Protection Act. In short, the method begins with a security protection analysis based on an analysis of your activities and the identification of what is worth protecting in them. Furthermore, the threats to your protected assets are determined through a threat assessment. Current security measuresare assessed against the identified threats. This method also includes a training plan to communicate the results of the security protection analysis and the security protection plan and to inform those concerned of the expectations and requirements. This is done by drawing up a control plan.
